Jesus

Why does Jesus matter?

Every one of us struggles at some point in life to find purpose, meaning and answers to questions like, “Why am I here?”. Deep within every man and woman there is an aching desire to know things like, “Does my life have purpose?”, “Is there more to life than this?” and “What happens when I die?”.

Jesus matters because He came to provide answers to life’s most perplexing questions. Jesus said, “I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.” He came to give purpose for living every day right now and to settle the question once and for all as to where we would spend eternity.

Jesus brings meaning to your life

Here’s a crazy idea for you to think about…the God who created the entire universe loves you and has a plan for your life. He cares about you and wants to help you because He made you.

That’s right, God made you on purpose and with a purpose. He knows you need His help. He knows you can’t do it on your own. That’s why He sent Jesus. Jesus came to do for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Here's the best part

You don’t have to be good enough, clean up your act or follow some super-spiritual checklist to know God. In fact, you’re not even capable of doing that. God knows that and wants to help. That’s why He sent Jesus…to do for us what we were incapable of doing for ourselves. Jesus took all our sins on Himself and died in our place. He did this to win the freedom we could not win and restore us to a right relationship with the God who made us and loves us and wants us to be His!

So, now what?!

If you are ready to know Jesus and the joy and freedom only He can give,
pray this prayer:

Dear Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died in my place and I’m trusting in you alone to make me right with God, not because of anything that I have done, but because of what you accomplished when you died on the cross for my sin. I commit my life to you and confess that you are my Lord…the boss of my life. I give you my past, present and future, believing that my sins are forgiven and I am made right with God. I give you my life to use for your glory. Amen”

If you prayed to meet Jesus and follow Him, please let us know.
