We encourage you to be CRAZY GENEROUS any time but every year during the holiday season we think it is so important that we dedicate 7 weeks to just that! So from November 30th to January 18th we will be encouraging everyone to be CRAZY GENEROUS!
What better way to celebrate Jesus’ birth than to shower our community and beyond with LOVE. This year, we have 3 ways to be CRAZY GENEROUS: Adopt, Invite, or Give! Browse below for all the details and related links.
PEARLAND NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER
-
First, we have the option of Adopting a Senior Citizen through Pearland Neighborhood Center right here in our city. All you have to do is sign up and then we will match you with a senior citizen that you can provide a gift basket for that can include items such as cozy blankets, candles, activities, and holiday treats!
Baskets will be due here by Sunday, December 14th. These baskets will be delivered to each home-bound senior citizen by the Pearland Police Department leading up to Christmas Day.
Our goal is to provide baskets for 100 local senior citizens.
DIGITAL INVITER
-
Next, we want to make connections with those in our community that do not have a church home yet OR are far from God by inviting them to one of our Christmas at Crosspoint services.
We have inviter cards available for you to give to your co-worker, friend, neighbor, or to randomly leave at a gas pump or at the local coffee shop. You can pick these up during church business hours.
You can also invite digitally with our new digital inviter through social media or text message! Our goal is for each Crosspoint family member to invite someone.
COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL
-
Lastly, we have a straight giving option where you can donate any amount that you would like, and all the donations will go to a partnering Child Development Center in Peru through Compassion International.
Our goal is to raise $20,000, that the center will use for educational supplies, new copier machines, and everything they will need to implement a new cooking program for the children who attend the center.
