This year, we are incorporating a little Taste of Peru into our Christmas weekend. The missional partnership we have with Peru has been a big part of our Kingdom impact this past year and so it was only fitting to bring Peru into our Christmas Celebration! From colors to treats, to storytelling, our hope is to bring a slice of Peru to Pearland.

We will be hosting four services for Christmas at Crosspoint this year: two on Saturday, December 20th at 4 & 5:45pm and two on Sunday, December 21st at 9 & 10:45am. These will be family style services with everyone celebrating in one space. Our nursery, Sprouts, will be open for children birth-young 3. We will also have photo opportunities, treats, and more!

  • Our Christmas at Crosspoint services are family services that run about an hour long and are comprised of different elements including videos, worship, and a family friendly message.

Family Services mean that we are all in the main auditorium together. Our nursery, Sprouts, will be open for children ages birth to young 3s if you would like to have your young children attend there instead.

Our service is structured to capture all ages and we will also have Christmas themed busy bags for our youngest or extra spirited guests.

  • Worship for our Christmas at Crosspoint services will be comprised of both classic Christmas and modern Worship songs. We do have a full band, including instrumentalist and vocalist.

  • Our Cafe will be fully open with all of its typical specialty drinks, but we will also be offering some Peruvian specials just for Christmas. Try two of Peru’s staples; Inca Kola, a bubble gum inspired soda OR Chica Morado.

The base ingredient of Chica Morado is corn culli or ckolli, which is a Peruvian variety of corn known commonly as purple corn which is abundantly grown and harvested along the Andes Mountains.

We will also have some popular treats straight from Peru such as corn nuts, Morochas, and Casino cookies.

  • There’s not a better time to capture a family photo or photo with friends, then when you are all dressed up for our Christmas at Crosspoint services. Stop at any of our photo opportunities and our photography team will help you capture the perfect moment.

CHRISTMAS RESOURCES

  • We celebrate Advent to prepare for the birth of Jesus Christ by anticipating his first coming at Christmas and his future second coming. This four-week season typically focuses on themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. Explore our free Advent Resources for you and your family this Christmas Season.

CRAZY GENEROSITY

  • What better way to celebrate Jesus’ birth than to shower our community and beyond with LOVE. Each year we do this through our annual Crazy Generosity Giving Campaign.

This year, we have 3 ways to be CRAZY GENEROUS: Adopt, Invite, or Give! Click the link above to see more information on these opportunities.

DIGITAL INVITER

  • Inviting someone to church on Christmas is significant because it provides a unique opportunity to share the true meaning of the holiday. This gesture can encourage others to explore the Christian faith in a warm and festive atmosphere, especially for those who may not regularly attend church services.

Christmas is also a time when people are more open to spiritual reflection and contemplating the story of Jesus' birth. Click the link above to access the digital inviter. Then just save the image to your device so you can INVITE, INVITE, INVITE!
